2024 Comedy Showcase
Following the 2024 Script Call, the pilots of finalists Luna Al-Kaisy and Sarah Campbell were performed at the annual showcase by top flight comedy talent including Ola Labib (Just Jokes), Carla Woodcock (Such Brave Girls), Ollie Locke (Greed, Plebs, The Stand Up Sketch Show), Ella Bruccoleri (Call the Midwife, Extraordinary), Kristy Philipps (Big Boys, The Pact 2, Vera) and many more!

FPC & UKTV Announce Script Call Finalists
Award-winning broadcaster UKTV launched a new comedy TV script call-out in partnership with Female Pilot Club, inviting women to submit original comedy scripts featuring female lead characters over the age of 45. Congratulations to all who submitted!

Four finalists received development support from FPC and UKTV, and their scripts were read before a private industry audience.

Podcast Series One Launch

Podcast Pick of the Week
In partnership with Screenskills, five talented writers were mentored by experienced industry figures with a track record in making TV. The mentoring programme was aimed at female writers from diverse ethnic backgrounds, with a disability, who are neuro-diverse, LGBTQ+, late starters, from a non-privileged socio-economic or geographic background.
